Our Story: How Mother Clucks Co. Hatched

Mother Clucks Co. was founded by two busy moms, Shawna Boals and Lindsay Rosegger, with a shared love for family, good food, and an urban backyard full of happy hens.

Like many parents, we wanted to teach our kids where their food comes from — and what better way than with a few feathered friends? We each started small, with four hens and a dream of fresh eggs and simple, sustainable living.

Before long, our friends and neighbors were stopping by to admire our coops, asking how they could start their own flocks without the mess, stress, or guesswork. That’s when the idea hatched — a turnkey chicken service that helps families enjoy the joy of backyard hens, without the hassle.

At Mother Clucks Co., we make it easy for anyone to create their own little homestead. From coop setup to care, our mission is to help families connect with nature, live more sustainably, and enjoy the simple pleasure of collecting fresh eggs right from their own backyard.
